Aside from a personal love of Dahlia's, the symbolism of this beautiful flower is very meaningful.

Dahlia's are diverse flowering plants and due to this diversity their meaning is varied. They have significance in many cultures and therefore different meanings symbolically. Generally they are viewed as a positive flower, commonly felt to represent the ability to find inner strength due to the fact that they can survive in challenging conditions.

What Does the Dahlia Flower Mean?

The Dahlia is also felt to symbolise -

  • Staying graceful despite pressure, particularly when in difficult situations

  • Honesty and commitment

  • To demonstrate support - they are felt to represent the ability to embrace positive change

  • Kindness

  • Diversity

  • Staying focused

  • Making a fresh start

  • Individuality and following your own path

  • Commitment to certain ideals

It feels to me that these themes resonate in many ways with therapy and therefore I decided it would be the perfect logo for RJT Psychology.
