FURTHER INFORMATION

I commenced my journey as a Clinical Psychologist in my teenage years when I studied for an ‘A’ level in Psychology. I went on to complete a BSc(Hons) degree in Applied Psychology in 1992 at the University of Central Lancashire. Following gaining some clinical experience, I studied for a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry – King’s College, London. I worked for the NHS on qualifying in 1998. Having commenced private practice alongside my NHS work in 2015 in 2021 I decided to work full time in the Independent Sector.

About : About Me

Entering therapy can feel like a big step to take. I aim to offer an open, non judgemental approach and a private space to look at your difficulties with you. This will be undertaken in a professional but warm and compassionate manner. I practice in a lovely setting in Penkridge near Stafford, which is easily accessible from the M6, has plenty of parking available and a therapy room on the ground floor. Sessions last an hour. I aim to make you feel as comfortable as possible as I recognise that initial sessions can be daunting. However, hopefully you will soon find that you are pleased that you have entered into your therapy journey with me. Please get in touch for further information. I always reply to emails so please check your junk mail if you do not hear from me.
